In an effort to raise revenue many of the Conservatories around are doing Butterfly Releases. They set up double screen doors to keep the butterflies inside one section and do a quick search on your way out to get back the hitchihikers. It's a fun photo shoot. I found a monopod works better with a DSLR and a mcro lens. Go in the off time so you'll have more room to move. The light levels are not consistent so you need to be quick as the butterflies are pretty active. They raise the temperature and humidity to keep them active. It's still a blast!
